Nathan Phillips Square Arena and Reflecting Pool Revitalization

DETAILED DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

This renovation spanned several years and 2 phases for the Nathan Phillips revitalization with the City of Toronto.

Our work was completed in two phases for the City due to budgetary reasons. The first phase was a renovation to the reflecting fountain, ice rink and repairs to the iconic arches. The second phase of the renovation was the refrigeration replacement. Efficiency Engineering was proud to help revitalize such an iconic landmark for the City. Our work included providing the Design and Project Management Services.



Some of the key upgrades were to:

  • replace concrete slab;  

  • replace fountain system;  

  • replace arch lighting;  

  • install new perimeter lighting;  

  • replace evaporative condenser with new HX tied into EnWave / Deep Lake Cooling loop.
